Toyama has been listed in The New York Times “52 places to go in 2025”!

Toyama city, the gateway to the Noto Peninsula which was devastated by an earthquake and torrential rains in 2024, is still in the process of reconstruction, but is attracting tourists as part of its recovery effort.

The article introduces the “Toyama Glass Art Museum,” designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma, the “Owara Kaze no Bon Festival,” which is held every September and attracts many visitors, as well as bistros, Izakaya, and coffee shops in Toyama City.
