Japanese arts and crafts,Sake Brewery visits
Toyama is often overlooked by tourists, but it has so much to offer - from the stunning Tateyama Mountain range to UNESCO-listed Gokayama. The region is also rich in traditional arts, crafts and delicious local cuisine. In 2025, the New York Times announced that Toyama was picked in its top “52 Places to Go”. I especially enjoy leading immersive, hands-on tours, such as visits to sake breweries, seasonal festivals, and craft workshops. With extensive experience as a tour guide, along with a 20-year career as a chaperone for the Miss International Beauty Pageant and a long history of volunteering at museums, I’m passionate about sharing the charm of Toyama. Let me help you discover the many “wow” moments waiting here.
