Art and Crafts
Though a twenty-minute Shinkansen ride from Kanazawa and an hour from Nagano, Toyama is often overlooked by tourists as a travel destination. However, Toyama has a lot to offer with the natural beauties of the 3000-meter high Tateyama mountain range, Gokayama(a World Cultural Heritage site), Spring Quartet, and regional art & crafts as well as local delicacies. I am a government licensed tour guide. I have a lot of experience as a tour guide in Toyama and can guide you anywhere you like. My specialty is showcasing Japanese culture, and I especially enjoy leading experimental tours, for example visiting festivals or attending workshops where you can experience making Japanese crafts firsthand. I will help you find many wows.
