Uchikawa River 内川

Stroll through a port town with a nostalgic atmosphere

The river flows through the Shinminato district on the sea side of Imizu City. It is approximately 3.4 km long.
The scenery of old townhouse-style houses lining the river and fishing boats moored in a row on both banks gives the river a nostalgic port town atmosphere.
More than 10 unique bridges cross the river, and sightseeing boats pass just barely under the bridges.
On a fine day, the Tateyama Mountain Range can be seen to the east.
