Ikuko Umemoto 梅本　郁子

I love mountains, forests, and nature.

Born and raised in Toyama prefecture. Encouraged by my parents’ love for mountain trekking, I started trekking from a very young age. 

In addition, I am a qualified nature guide of the Japan Mountain Guides Association, and I am good at guiding Murodo, Midagahara, and Shomyo Falls as well as guiding through the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. I also offer snowshoe experience tours during the snowy season.

I can also guide you to other sightseeing spots in Toyama Prefecture and neighboring prefectures. 

It would be great if you could see the vegetation and the natural beauty of each of the four seasons, which are rarely seen overseas.
