Night sky dyed by impressive fireworks

Part of the Takaoka Tanabata Festival, the Kitanippon Shimbun Takaoka Summer Fireworks Festival is a fireworks display featuring about 2,000 fireworks such as sozo-hanabi (creative fireworks) and ultra large star mines. The rapid-fire star mines and character-shaped fireworks add colour to proceedings, vividly dyeing the night sky above Takaoka City. Spectators can enjoy the impressive fireworks from close up because they are allowed to observe from near the launch site. Do come and enjoy the impressive fireworks in this summer festival that is thronged each year.
