Ocean Rest Stop “Mirage” 海の駅　蜃気楼

Come enjoy fresh grilled seafood every Saturday and Sunday!

Check out the mirage viewing area and the delicious food of Uozu at this rest stop. In the "Jankoi-shi" market, you can find fresh fish from the Port of Uozu, as well as seasonal produce, local confectionaries and handicrafts. Have a meal "Gengenbou", a restaurant managed directly by the Uozu Fishing Cooperative Association, or the other delicious eateries. Morning markets are held in the event space on 2nd and 4th Sundays each month, and flea markets are also popular. Every weekend people come to enjoy fresh grilled seafood by the ocean. Why not join the fun - if you are lucky, you might even see a mirage!
