Magical wintertime fireworks display, completely different from summertime festivals!

In the hot spring village of Unazuki, the winter fireworks display is a celebrated yearly tradition. Every Saturday night during February and March, dazzling colors light up the crisp, clear winter nights and the powerful thunder echoes through the surrounding mountains. The fireworks display can be seen from any location in the hot spring village, and it is held even when it snows, ensuring an experience quite different from summertime fireworks festivals. As well, a snow carnival is held on February 1st. Imagine a soothing soak in the hot springs followed by beautiful fireworks lighting up the snow-covered village of Unazuki – you won’t want to miss this experience!
