The best spot for catching the Kurobe Gorge and the trolley train

This is the best spot to catch the trolley train crossing the new Yamabiko Bridge over the Kurobe Gorge. The other arch bridge that you can see is the old Yamabiko Bridge that was used to transport construction materials for the Kurobe River power station. The name　Yamabiko (“echo”) apparently comes from the sound of the moving train echoing back to the onsen village. There is also an enjoyable walking course that takes in the steel bridge, tunnels and the old rail tracks. Please take a gentle stroll through Kurobe’s delightful gorge.
