Kanetsuri Hot Spring 鐘釣温泉

Open-air bath only accessible by trolley train!

Opened in 1819, this is an historic hot spring where you can enjoy both the Kurobe River and a secret spring. A riverbed open-air bath was built here because spring water gushes from the riverbed below Kurobe Gorge Railway Kanetsuri Station. You really must try this hot spring that allows you to experience the delights of Kurobe’s gorge and clear waters. Some people even make their own hot springs, because spring water gushes out wherever you dig on the riverbed. You can stay in the Kanetsuri Onsen Inn where lunch is also served (reservation required). Why don’t you break up your journey and have some fun here.
