The pharmaceutical industry has been known across the country for many years as one of the representative industries of Toyama. Tradition has contined unbroken until modern times, so that even today, Toyama is known as a 'medicine town'. In this museum, ancient manuscripts with high historical and cultural value, as well as rare items that were used in medicine-selling at the time, and old medicine packaging are preserved and displayed.
