Yatsuo Owara Museum 八尾おわら資料館

Experience the Owara-kaze Bon Festival on a big screen

Learn all about Yatsuo’s famous Owara-kaze Bon Festival, including the history, songs, dances, costumes and instruments, in a museum that recreates a traditional Yatsuo townhouse. Countless historic materials are on display, including evidence of exchange with numerous prominent writers and artists from history, such as Hoan Kosugi, a Western-style painter, and Ujo Noguchi, a writer of poetry, children’s songs and folk songs. You can even enjoy a film of an Owara performance on a big screen in the screening room. A must-see attraction for anyone visiting Yatsuo!
